Can't find a class ...

I've heard mention in a couple places of a class, not sure if it's a Prestige Class or not, called something like War Wizard, which among others grants the ability to add 1 per die to the damage of any spell you cast. It's not the War Wizard of Cormyr, from Magic of Faerun, and it's not the Warmage, from the Miniatures Handbook and Complete Arcane. Anyone know what it is I'm talking about? And where it's from?

The build I saw it in also had an ability called "Arcane Aegis", which couldn't have come from any other source that I see, and which seemed to let you add your Cha modifier to an ally's AC within 30' (the description was cursory). If that rings any bells.

Sounds like something from Monte Cook, but I can't recall hearing of it, sorry.

The only thing slightly close to that, ignoring the two mentioned classes would maybe be the Battle Sorcerer variant in UA. But then again, I don't remember it having that dice ability...
