Can't View Embeded URLs in Posts

Take the first post of this topic:

When I view it, it has one short paragraph and a huge field of blank space below it. There is nothing that can be selected.

If I quote the post, the embedded link text for three links become visible, and I can copy and paste those links to get where I need to go.

My question is, why aren't the links showing in the post? Why do I have to view the source code of the post to find them?

This issue is intermittent. For example, in the first post of this topic:

... the embedded URL is visible.

The three in the first post you mentioned are YouTube videos. The one in the second post you mentioned is simply a link.

In the first post, you should be able to see the three videos themselves - EN World automatically parses the URL and shows the video (as shown in my attached screenshot of what I see in that first post).

My best guess, with the little information I have (I don't know what browser, etc. you're using), is that you might want to see that your browser's Flash plugin is up-to-date and working.
