Warlock needs a lot of converting to be decent in PF, IMO. Without all the splats to boost it up, the base Warlock was pretty weak even when thought of as an archer, IMO. The UMD stuff was nice for tricks, but in PF pretty much everyone can be good at UMD, and even non-casters can make some magic items.
Not sure Warlock's great fit for gambit either, because you can't full attack with eldritch blast (just quicken it 3 times a day via feat). Well, you can with Eldritch Glaive, but that's melee.
