Carrying Case

Doom3524

First Post
Hey everyone, just curious if anyone knows if there is something out to carry D&D books in? I have a milk crate right now, but I have about 10 books more than what can fit in the milk crate, and I really dont want to carry around 2. I have had suggestions of a suitcase, tote etc... but I was just curious if there was an actual carrying case out, and if so where I could find it.

Good lord, how many books are you carrying to every game if they won't all fit in a milk crate?! If you NEED all those books every session, though, I would suggest a big duffel bag.

Officially - not that I'm aware of, however, if there is a local music shop and you don't mind spending the dough, look into a wheeled CD coffin case. ATA style case with a retracable handle, lockable and portable (makes a great footrest or end table during gaming sessions too.)
I wish I had a picture link, but I don't. :(

Tewligan: I dont necessarilly need them all at every session, but I didnt buy them to leave the at the house, then have the occasion come up where I need Book A and I brought Book B.

Thunderfoot: thats actually a good idea, I will have to look into those and see how big they are and how many books they can fit.

Thats getting into something to just throw them in. I am a neat nut (or freak if you will) and I want to find something that will allow me to keep them neat and in order so I always know what book is where.

My brother bought one from The Danger Room in Anderson, Indiana (made locally there I believe), and loves it. Fits hardcover books, foam trays (like from Chessex Battle Box), and comes with some plastic trays for minis (I think).

Reportedly, The Danger Room has them for $50 US:

If it is more than a milk crate of books, you're into "too heavy to easily carry all at once" territory anyway. So, just go to two milk crates, and make an extra trip back and forth to the car...
