Is anyone aware of an update or conversion to 3rd Edition or 3.5 for the old Expert D&D mission Castle Amber?

Yup, it's in the Conversion Library. There's also a thread on RPG.net about one group's experiences running it in 3E.

Me, too. Albeit highly adapted to fit my setting and avoid some of the weirdness of it.
