Castle Greyhawk?

Of course it couldn't be called Greyhawk or use any of the Greyhawk names since these are all trademarks of WOTC. Too bad Erik Mona couldn't get WOTC to publish it as an official product.

It will probably be called "Castle Zagig". According to the Troll Lords website, if the Troll Lords produce rules to his liking, Gary said he would write it up for the Castles & Crusades project.

Actually, I believe Gary retained that name somehow - I know I haven't seen it used in D&D products for quite some time now. Plus, Zagig is different from "Zagig" - even though it's supposedly the same person in Greyhawk canon.

And if it's "Castle Zagig," I'm not batting an eye. What I wanna see, is Gary and Rob's work done for that castle, if it's Castle Greyhawk, Castle DunFalcon, or Castle Puffenstuff. :)

I hear you Henry! :D

BTW, it sounds like Gary doesn't have access to his pw to answer Qs in the Q&A thread: can you help him out?

Zagyg, Zagig, Xagyg...
Who needs consistency? :p

I agree with the idea that there are two distinct beings with the Zagyg name.

Zagyg: Mad god of eccentricity, servant of Boccob

Xagyg: Mortal Archmage, former mayor of Greyhawk City who imprisoned the 9 deities in his dungeon. Possibly named (either by his parents or later by himself) in honor of the God.

That would leave Zagig which I reckon is just an archaic or alternate spelling of the god's name.
