An interesting observation about the card. Apparently whoever had that power (Logan?) was a multiclass rogue or took a weapon prof feat. S/he was using a weapon that did d8 and the rogue does not have proficiency in a d8 weapon.

There was another theory as well, sec, let me see if I can dig it up

Hmm I should stick to football and beer today, I think.

Hi jeffhartsell,

Rapiers are 1d8 weapons in 4E. So, it was probably a rapier. ;)
