D&D 5E CB's Stonefast IC -- COMPLETE

The barricade spilled just a little into the hallway. From the little Fulgrim could see, there appeared to be no obvious door inside the room. A reasonable guess might be that the barricade was tossed up from outside the room, in the hallway.

"Colden, can you give me a hand here?" asks Spec. "Anyone? Let's try to remove this barricade and see what's inside."

Spec puts down his shield, and then carefully tries to remove a piece from the obstacle.
 

"It's odd," Fulgrim said. "It looks like the barricade was to keep something in, rather than to keep people out."

Naturally, this concern didn't stop the dwarf from assisting Father Spec with his attempts to dismantle the hastily-erected structure.
 

"Bucket Brigade?" Guran inquires.

"What I mean by that is: while you're dismantling the barricade, should Roscoe and I carry the things you remove from it to the ossuary room, so the corridor can remain clear?"
 

"Ooh! Good idea. This piece here is quite big. Perhaps you could give me a hand?" asks Spec, standing back and blowing his nose.
 



Guran reaches over to give Spec a hand with the large piece the cleric was referring to.

Guran replies to Roscoe, "What if we want to rebuild the barricade later? What if barricading this doorway was a really good idea? Could we drag the stuff back out of the pit later to do that?"

Guran waits a couple of seconds and then adds, "I didn't think so."
 

Spec reached inside the barricade and grabbed hold of one corner of the armoire. At his request, Colden moved to help with the other side. The pair started to heft the piece out of the way, dragging it sideways at first, then forward. Something in the bottom of the jumble of furniture gave way, causing an avalanche of broken bits of wood and rent metal to cascade down on top of Spec and Colden. Fulgrim and Guran, who stood at the ready nearby to help move pieces out of the way, jumped. Roscoe stood off to the side in the corridor, out of the path of the avalanche.

GM: Spec and Colden need to make a Dexterity DC 15 saving throw. Fulgrim and Guran need to make a Dexterity DC 13 saving throw. I do not need a saving throw from Roscoe.
