With Fulgrim assisting, Colden attempts but fails to lift the armoire.

Roscoe, who had been keeping an eye out, fails to spot a kobold with a crossbow stick its head around the dogleg and fire off a shot, and so does Guran. The rest of you were either engrossed with the attempt to lift the armoire, or sandwiched beneath it. The bolt slams into Guran's hindside, dealing 7 points of damage.

GM: ROLL INITIATIVE! Until your turn on Round 1 of init, your character does not benefit from his Dexterity to AC.

 

[Kobold Stew]

Under the armoire Spec had been flailing and whimpering, but as soon as they are attacked, he regains his composure. As soon as he sees a target, however, he plus down Sacred Flame onto it.

OOC: Initiative [roll0] Under the armoire, I figure Spec is prone and restrained. If that's fair, then he attacks with disadvantage, and attacks on him have advantage if within 5'. He might also have cover, and his move is zero. He casts sacred flame on the first target he sees (readying the action if he can't cast the spell). Sacred Flame DC 13 Dex save or [roll1] radiant damage.

Fulgrim blasts the nearest kobold with a firebolt.

EDIT: if the Kobold was slain by Fulgrim's firebolt Roscoe will attemp to lift the debris enough for Spec to crawl out.

The kobold took off around the corner. Everyone heard the sound of a crossbow being cranked as it ran. Followed soon thereafter by yipping.[sblock=Draconic]"Five big talls! Not the seven Grimtok said earlier! Get the fizz bang!"[/sblock]

OOC: Everyone is up. I'll give each of you an opportunity to re-state since the Kobold ended up winning initiative and darting out of sight. Spec lacked line of sight to cast sacred flame because the armoire is on top of him. The good news is that because the armoire is on top of him, Spec has total cover. A character could use their action to help Colden attempt the Strength DC 15 check to lift the armoire off Spec, which would result in Colden gaining advantage on his check. Thanks for the note about Arcane Ward, [MENTION=95059]Forged Fury[/MENTION], that'll help me track the ward.
