Cursing his miss, the dwarf attempted his spell again.

Both fire bolts miss the Orc, who leered at the dwarf. "You miss," the orc called stupidly in Common.

OOC: I'll resolve Colden's readied action re: the sound of stone on stone grating that he heard when Skarsgard posts it. For now, I think we can move on to Roscoe, mainly for the reason that he's in the room with the spider, unaware of the orc or the panel, and therefore unlikely to do anything to interact with either. Kinda has his hands full with the giant spider. [MENTION=24609]Strahd_Von_Zarovich[/MENTION], you're up. The map remains unchanged.

Somewhat calm that the spier missed him and knowing about his kin resilience to poison Roscoe decides to keep going with the brutal attack.

Reckless attack (1d20+4, 1d20+4, 1d6+3=[14, 4], [14, 4], [3, 3]) - HIT AC 18 for 6 damage.

Guran calls out to the others that part of the ceiling is moving, above the space just south of the disabled pit trap.

OOC: Not an action. I'll put assorted, random speculations about religion, spiders, and cover into the OOC thread.

Roscoe bobbed and weaved fiercely, hacking and slashing at the giant spider for all he was worth. And to good effect, too, dealing 6 points of damage.

OOC: Colden is up, [MENTION=6787159]Skarsgard[/MENTION]. Colden can take his readied action from Round 1, plus his turn for Round 2. Guran has called out that the ceiling near the pit trap is moving. Conditions: Dim lighting. All, again, I apologize for my delay today in posting; I strongly dislike when I say I will do something (post in the afternoon) and then do not do it. Today was a thing. Thanks for your patience.

[Skarsgard]

Colden will swing at the moving ceiling not sure what his companions had seen. After the attack he steps back to the junction proper to give himself some more light.

Colden swiped at the ceiling but missed. His blade poked up into open air, and though he could see that a panel was missing, there did not appear to be anyone dangling out the edge or inside the open hole.

Two orcs barreled around the corner. The front one (Orc 1) had a greataxe in one hand. Fulgrim couldn't see the second orc quite as well, as it was behind the first in the narrow hallway, but it looked like it had a spear or a javelin in its hand. Orc 1 charged at Fulgrim, swinging with the axe but missing. Orc 2 stopped at the intersection, tossed its javelin at Fulgrim, then stepped back behind the corner. Orc 2 missed as well.

High-pitched giggling came from the hole in the ceiling.

OOC: Fulgrim has half cover (+2 to AC) while Orc 1 is between him and an attacker. [MENTION=61026]tuxgeo[/MENTION] and [MENTION=23484]Kobold Stew[/MENTION], I'll take actions from both of you.

Father Spec has momentarily forgotten about the mace swinging from his hip, as he tries again with the celestial flames.

"Stinking kettle of fish!" Guran exclaims. He faces in the direction of orc1. Leaning slightly to his right, he draws his remaining handaxe and attacks the orc with the thrown weapon, throwing it past Fulgrim.
