D&D 5E CB's Stonefast IC -- COMPLETE

I'm done.
Roscoe speaks to himself, satisfied with the new addition that dangles from his outfit.
The panel up their could be the exit from the panel entrance we saw earlier, could explain how the Orcs did not sprang the ice spell trap.
He ignores the calls for now as a dark inner fear does not want it to be another Orb of horror.

Guran replies to Father Spec, "Alright then, would you please give me a mite of healing here? And thanks be to Fharlanghn if you would. If time's a-wasting, then let's push on as soon as may be, if everyone else is ready."

Guran gave thanks to Fharlanghn, and Spec--nodding--reached out a hand and bestowed healing energy on the dwarf to the tune of [roll0] points. As the party attempted to decide whether to retreat or go elsewhere further into the hold, the double doors were suddenly flung open wide. Inside lay a series of antechambers, and a wide hallway that yawned toward a cavernous hall to the north. To the east and west, there appeared to be narrow hallways prior to the hall. Fulgrim and Guran could make out no less than seven kobolds, yet another dark-skinned elf--this one a comely young she-elf who bore a long gnarled stave crafted of some queer-looking grey material, and the old crone she-elf with lank gray hair and tattered robes of indeterminate color they'd encountered previously.

The crone raised a finger and began casting a spell.

OOC: Roll initiative! No one is surprised, thanks to Spec's and Guran's Perception and warning. Then again, no one inside the series of rooms to the north looks surprised, either. I'm aware that Spec has a light spell going. I believe the duration is one hour; if that's so, then Guran's light spell is also still active. If the duration is ten minutes, Guran's spell is snuffed. If your character doesn't have darkvision, please factor that in as you decide on actions.

The large light grey circle on the map below indicates the limit of Fulgrim's 60' darkvision (centered on him).

OOC: I did a map showing Spec's and Guran's light spells' areas of effect. The brighter yellow is the 20' of bright illumination. The darker gold is the 20' of dimly illuminated area beyond that. By my calculation, Roscoe and Colden can see the kobolds in U40, S40, and S41. Spec can see the kobolds in S40 and S41, but not the kobold in U40.

Only Fulgrim and Guran are able to make out the creatures north of gridline 40.

Blood pressure is going way up as Roscoe sees the kobolds.
OOC: Rage: +2 damage, resistance to damage, advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws. Totem Spirit (bear) - While raging, you have resistance to all damage except psychic damage.

OOC: Init [roll0].
As for illumination: I've always understood the range to be a 20' radius (20' from the light source), not a 20' diameter. I'm fine to proceed with this as you have it, but I think even those without dark vision should be able to see up to R36, and a 5' step will bring the Elf into sight. Maybe? :D

OOC: Good catch, thanks. I had the 20' radius for both bright light and dim illumination firmly in mind, but spaced it when I sat down to do the map. Based on the re-configuration (see below), I agree that Roscoe, Colden, and Spec can see three additional kobolds, up to and including the kobold in R36. Both the crone and the dark elf are outside their field of vision, however (though a 5' step would change that). Here's an amended map with correct radii.

OOC: The singular of "staves" is "staff," so nobody ever held "one stave" -- all they ever held is "one staff." This is not to be confused with "stoves," however, because one person can hold "one stone' -- but only when it's not actively burning. (FIRE damage.)
