CD3: -=- THULLGRIM -=- please read last page

I have an illustrator friend. I can see if she is interested in doing the cover. I don't know if she will do it for free though. But I can ask.

I will see if I cant find some of her stuff to show and tell.

That would be great.

The thing is, for CD1 and CD2 I relied on the ENworld art gallery for pics, but now the gallery has been wiped clean, and there's almost nothing in it.

I really appreciate you asking her. Just keep in mind that we will only be using professional looking complete pictures with background. I had to refuse some art submissions for past CDx (that's the part of my job that I hate, because I don't have half the drawing talent of those whose submissions I refused, and I feel like banta poodoo when I reject art).

jester - I'm a little concerned with that northern door in #13. I know if I was in the party, I wouldn't leave the dungeon until I tore down those doors and figured out what was behind them. :D Bit of a red herring in a sense. Maybe an actual door isn't the best format for this "portal" to hell?

What happens if the party turns the wraith and then opens the lock - does the wraith still get sucked in?

Here we go- I got her website . I am reluctant to post pics because I don't have her permission. But everyone take a look and see what you think.

stuff to check out-

Goosegirl
The Robber Bridegroom

This girl has some serious talent that needs more appreciation. She shouldn't have to work security. However, the chances of her having a pic laying around ready to go is pretty slim. But I am sure if the got the manuscript in some stage, she could work some magic. I am not sure if she will do it simply for exposure but you can email me for her email if we think she is an avenuee we want to persue.

yup.

And yes it is supposed to be a red herring. The doors only take wraiths to hell, so I figure it will be one of those things that a DM can just sit, smile, and say nothing about. Getting them out of the room at that level is almost impossible, and I figure getting them to come off the wall shold be just as hard. As long as you are not a wraith, its a false door. If you are a wraith, someone turns off the lock, watch out for the wraithpaper! I figure few groups will not get to the lock before the wraith starts causing problems. The wraith is in complete cover. There may be a limit on the number of effective ghost touch weapons avalable. So I figured there should be a couple of ways to get rid of this guy if they think or simply explore.

updated rooms #12 and #14 for grammar and general clarifications (the columns in #14).

Could someone please go over #14 to make sure I covered all the bases? I think I got most of them but if there is anything missing I will fix it.

Finally, this has been alot of fun, everyone bringing different philosophies and tricks to bear on a single project. Not only has it been fun to participate but I think I have learned something from each room that I can take back to my own game. The best kind of experience. Can't wait for the next one!

So who or what in here eats or needs to feed or goes through the motions so I could orchestrate the chef?

can anyone think of some fiendish and nasty labels for bottles on the jars and food?

My description of the room is rather weak, anyone care to help me spice it up?

Salivated spleens
Masticated intestines
Pulpy bits
Pickled pig's feet (real stuff, btw)
red herring
partiallly digested (I think just an adjective is enough here. I wouldn't touch a bottle simply titled "partially digested")
whole olives
bloodied pimentos
