I've been converting a lot of 3.x books to Pathfinder .user files for Hero Lab. One of the books is the Book of Erotic Fantasy.
I ran across the new special material, Celestial Argentum. It's a reddish metal that has all of the same properties of Mithral (half weight, armor is reduced one category, same bonuses to arcane failure, max dex, and armor check penalty) with the exception of it is not considered to be alchemical silver for the purposes of damage reduction.
What caught my attention was the fact that Celestial Argentum is 2000gp more expensive when used to make armor or shields, and it costs 2000gp to make a weapon out of it.
I get the feeling there was meant to be some additional benefits to account for that greater price. The paladin character in the book wears a breastplate made of the stuff, so I assume that it was meant to enhance holy abilities somehow.
Anyone know if this was ever addressed in the old Valar forums?
