Is that why both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge would not allow me to access the forums this morning?

Probably. In my case, I got an error message I understood, I debugged it, and found the expired certificate. Then I added an exception.

I got caught in that around lunchtime (NYC time zone) but my mobile screen was too wigged out to send a message. By 9PM when I tried to drop in again it was fixed - and here I am.
