Chain-able spells list?

I just hit level 6 and became an Incantator. I'm thinking of taking the Chain Spell feat but can't find a whole lot of spells to apply it to (other than Haste, Fear, and GMW). Is there a comprehensive list somewhere, even of just the core spells, than can be chained with this feat?

IIRC, Chain Spell should work on most Targeted (not Effect) spells with a range greater than touch. From a glance at the first page of my spell list, I can spot the following:

Binding
Blindness/Deafness
Cause Fear
Charm Person
(and its siblings)
Command
Daze
Destruction
(!)
Dismissal
Dominate Person
(and its siblings)
Doom
Feeblemind
Finger of Death
Flesh to Stone

(And that's just the A-F page.) Someone should double-check to be sure I haven't included any invalid ones, but I think these will all work.

There's some debate on what spells it applies to. The language of the feat uses spells that target or something like that, which would cut out rays and the like, and also cut out almost every single damaging spell. But the same book puts out a feat called split ray that uses the same "target" language. I think it's fairly apparent that in this book the author was misusing terms. Whether the misues only happened with split ray or if it was duplicated with chain spell I can't say.

It's not a big deal since it would primarily boost damaging spells which just suck with chain spell. Though chain enervation would be decent, and chain disinigrate is just cool.

While blindness and poly other and holds will rise up as the ohhh and ahhh...

use spells which avoid the downside...

Single most potent spell to be chained...

Greater Magic Weapon (imagine 12th level sor who throws a sixth level chain GMW and enhances 13 weapons/ammo-sets to +4 for 12 hours!!! Thats one sword, one bow and 50 arrows EACH for every member in a four man gang.)

Haste is also good, why waste time with mass haste.

Dispel magic (targetted version) is wonderful as you get rolls vs all the spells on the chainer victims... not that dispel rolls are not saves. Hit their mage and also drop nearly every potion liquored fighter's buffing at once.

etc etc etc... chain is IMO more effective at spells for whom save is not an issue, like all the above. its use for offense is hit and miss, due to the save thingy, although you will typically get one extra failed save.
