Sorry if this is the wrong place to post it, but arguably if he didn't co-write Chainmail with EGG, none of us would be here now playing or at least, playing D&D.
Basically like a lot of others from the early TSR era, Jeff Perren is getting old and has health problems. He had to have a leg amputated. His daughter is willing to have him move in with her, but he needs a stair lift for his wheelchair and is running a Go Fund Me to help pay for it
