[challenge] Adventure

Liquide

DEX: 4
Well I cannot really propose a competition with prizes, but since we have so many good (and wicked :D ) minds here I thought that I could propose a challenge instead.

Well I would like to see an adventure, or a plot idea, that is based totally on illusions. Kinda think a world that only exist if you actually believe in the illusions that you are subject too.

The Alice in Wonderland is something I would use as a reference (could be argued that it is no illusions in there but think it is full of them for the sake of this thread). A world where you have to believe in illusions in order to help out and be able to play the adventure, were True Seeing in theory takes you out of the world you play in (when you cannot interact with the illusions you cannot play the adventure).

So, let me see what you can ponder up and we can have a little challenge of creating something fun or frightening. Or if someone prefers it to be a workshop were everyone chips in that is good by me aswell :)

So let me see them ideas now lads and ladettes.

That sounds like the philosophy of Silopsism. In fact, in the 2nd ed. Tome of Magic, there was a spell (4th level, IIRC), called Silopsism, that was kind of like an illusion, but the party members had to believe it in order to make use of it. So, you could cast the spell to make an illusion of a bridge to span a river. If you believed that the bridge was real, you could use it to cross the river.
