Challenge of Champions info needed

BaldHero

First Post
I want to collect and run the various scenarios called the Challenge of Champions from Dungeon magazine. Does anyone have access to old copies so that i can identify them and begin to try and track them down. i cant remember any of the issues, or even the details about most of the scenarios, but i think they would be perfect for what i have in mind.

I want to use them as the entry exam for an elite explorers guild when i kick off my eberron game.

I would appreciate any issue numbers or contacts for back issues of such age, thanks.

Based on a google search of the Paizo site:

#58 has the first
#69 has number 2
#80 has number 3
#91 has number 4
#108 has number 5
#138 has number 6

They seem to have copies of all the issues. (Well, except 138, which is being worked on now as I understand it).

Just a reminder, BaldHero, the first three Challenges of Champions were written using AD&D 2nd Edition rules, so they'll require some conversion to 3E.

Of course, most of the ones I've read (including one 2nd edition one) was very rules light, so changes are unlikely to be difficult.

I had them at one time, and lost them due to flood damage.
I was planning on converting them right over, but want to make sure i know what characters my players create next in order to keep the scenarios challenging. I dont want unexpected abilities or skills to make the challenges too easy.

I have decided that they make a perfect entrance exam into the wayfarers guild from the eberron setting.

For some reason, i just assumed that issues that old would be unavailable.
