A couple of questions.
Which Eberron book do they show up in?
Are there any "Changeling Handbooks" laying around?
Generally handbooks are resolved for certain classes or strategies not specific races. What I can tell you about changelings is they are great skill monkeys that usually offer a great deal of flexibility. Aside from the minor shapechange ability they can get feats to allow them to qualify as other races as well as substitution levels that increase and expand skills. Most of the levels are a general improvement when used right and depending on how the morphic familiar in the changeling wizard is interpreted it could very well be choose your lackey at will.

Thanks for the quick responses, additional questions to follow.

Is there a way to improve the minor change shape ability into the full blown, doppelganger change shape, without tacking on an LA?

If a Changeling is bound in some fashion (chained, shackled, finger cuffed, cuffed, gagged, blindfolded, etc), can he use his minor change shape ability to decrease the size of his body to potentially get out of his binds? I understand Disguise Self is illusory, but Changelings use transmutation to accomplish the effect.
Part two of this question, if you were a group of six (three fighter types, a wizard, a cleric, and a rogue type), what class would the enemy be for you to bind him up in all of those manners plus a forcecage, because you didn't want him to escape but needed him alive for some reason?

For a Changeling/Warshaper, is there a limit to the size of the weapon created with Morphic Weapon? Can I grow Large Claws?
Do my new natural weapons grant iterative attacks at full (or -5) BAB, just as if they were actually natural weapons?
Can I make up weapons as I go along? Could I give myself a longsword-like bony protrusion do deal 1d8? Could I alter my fingers to be lockpicks or tools?

If my Warshaper wanted to give himself 35 tentacles (for example, I understand how absurd it is), could he make an attack roll for all 35 tentacles each round?

emoplato I understand the general rule for handbooks, I was just hoping.

Are Warlocks "Arcane Spellcasters" for the purpose of features that improve or require "arcane spellcasting class"? I want to be a Chameleon, who can prepare and cast arcane spells, chosen from the list of any arcane spellcasting class. If I can prepare Invocations, it opens up a number of windows for me.

1. I was just responding to the rule and also implying why I haven't found one there might be one. Minor shapechange isn't to specific to what exactly can be considered a minor change. It does refer as being like the disguise self spell except for what you already know. The spell says you can shrink or grow by one foot so if that helps you break free than yes otherwise no. I think cabinet trickster does actually give you some doppelganger abilities, some other mind-affecting tricks, and Change shape as a cap stone(Races of Eberron).
2. I am not sure off the top of my head.
3. As for morphic weapons it seems to me you don't gain the ability to grow separate appendages. It gives the express ability to modify ones you have by saying you can add horns or claws. You could make your arms into tentacles but not sprout new ones. It does say you can use it as often as you like so you technically could keep growing natural weapons. No, natural weapons function just like other natural weapons in that you gain a separate attack for each one you have[1 primary(full BAB/str.), rest secondary(P-5, 1/2str)]. You either need to have a weapon or improved unarmed strike to gain BAB iteratives.

Quick emoplato, teeth to tentacles sounds like an interesting spell, but more importantly could be used with warshaper (I'd say) to become tentacles.
Waiting for more responses before I can keep going with my thoughts.

What spell is this book from? Are you sure you don't mean toothed tentacle? In general, any transmutation spell that changes your form is game for the Warshaper. I say any mobile appendage on your body that isn't being used all the time. So, if you get a fly speed both your arms and legs could be made into tentacles.
