Stories are meant to be related orally, by someone either intimately familiar with the topic or someone who has dedicated his life to memorizing stories. Only monks read. [/snark]

Oral - printed - electronic. Times change. One day we'll be connected to the Matrix and will have instant knowledge because the information is downloaded directly to our brain.
