And don't forget good ole' Cthulhu.

Picked it up. Like what I see so far. :)

Could be, maybe even SHOULD BE, a whole new campaign setting.
Does it look like it could be integrated into a homebrew or published setting?

To the contrary, it's probably the Malhavoc product that has interested me the least. It would not mesh well with my world at all, I've read all the hooks Monte put on his Designer Diaries (new weird stuff, ancient legacy of evil gods, etc.) and none are compatible.

I'm also not very keen on associating science with Law in order to come up with this for Chaos. And I don't want another magical subsystem.

PS: Krug, ain't that avatar the "sally-mander" from Wormy?

You know, the word tech in the title totally put me off, but rereadign the description it sounds interesting.

Maybe combinable with the Far Realm for my alienist PC? Hmmm...

Certainly don't see why not. I know for me, this is just an extreme abberation caused by Titanic forces.

This has very little to do with alignment and more to do with the Moorcockian and Warhammerish idea of raw chaos as a power and corrupting force.

Ugh.

Think I'll pass, then.

I like Monte, but I hate both of those settings...

Thanks for the info, though :)

Yeah, I think the title throws me more than anything....

Pitch me a book about hideous corrupting energies that no mortal can control being weaved into spell and technology, I'd say "Cool!"

Pitch me the same book called "Chaositech," and my reaction will be "Where's the Lawitech? Why's Chaos get all the good stuff?"......I think my inherent bias agasint those early-player kewls get me (everyone knows a chaotic neutral elf ninja is the kewlest character in teh werld! ;))
