RuneQuest Warlords computer game launches on December 9th​

Our friends at Slitherine have announced that their turn-based strategy computer game RuneQuest Warlords launches on PC on December 9th.

RuneQuest Warlords is the first-ever video game adaptation of Chaosium's RuneQuest, one of the most celebrated and beloved tabletop roleplaying games of all time.

The campaign focuses on the Talastar tribes, set between Talastar and Dorastor on the continent of Genertela during the year 7/37 (1608) in the Glorantha timeline. Players step into the role of Hahlgrim, a champion of the Bilings tribe, who is forced to rally allies – including elves and even temporary Lunar support – to push back the Chaos invasion spilling out of Dorastor.

The story unfolds across 18 missions and features key figures from RuneQuest lore such as Ketil Whiteeye, Hakon the Swimmer, Woowandor, and the notorious Chaos lord Ralzakark.

KoDP and its successor games Six Ages are set in the world of Glorantha (and are awesome), but they are not video game adaptions of RuneQuest and do not use the RuneQuest trademark.
