Chaosium's Lynne Hardy is a guest at Cymera 2025, Scotland’s Festival of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Writing. It takes place in Edinburgh, UK on the weekend of June 7-8.
As part of the convention's gaming strand Lynne is running a workshop on Saturday and games on Sunday morning. Wither her extensive experience as a TTRPG creator and line editor, Lynne's workshop, Hitting the Right Note, explores how writing a short story is very different to writing a scenario for a roleplaying game, and examines the differences and ways to embed player agency in scenarios.
