Pendragon Classic Kickstarter: new stretch goals announced!
Our
Pendragon Classic Kickstarter has another five days to go. Having passed the first two Stretch Goals,
Double the Dice and
GM Screen, we're pleased to announce new Stretch Goals to carry us through to the end of the campaign.
$120,000 - Color Heraldry
The first four editions of the Pendragon RPG and its supplements were all done with black & white interiors. Most of the heraldry was not produced in color, with the exception of a few shields on a few book back covers. To help correct this deficit, we want to make the game more colorful by adding a multi-page armorial with full color heraldry for the knights in the rules and the early supplements!
Once we reach $120,000 in funding this brand new printed item will be included for free to all backers getting the printed Deluxe boxed set, and also as a free PDF to all $20+ backers.
NOTE: We're not replacing the art in the books. They will all continue to be filled with the original B&W heraldry from the originals. The color heraldry is being added as a bonus handout. That way you have the best of both without having to choose one over the other.
$130,000 - More Creatures, all in one place
The original Gamemaster’s book only contained statistics for 11 creatures, plus brief notes on seven more. Of course, many more were documented over time, especially in various supplements and in the newer editions of the game.
Once we reach $130,000 in funding we will add more creatures and monsters to the GM’s book, including: Basilisk, Copper Giant, Faerie Knight, Griffin, Hippogriff, four Horse breeds, Lion, Manticore, Panther, Raven Witch, Redcap, Water Leaper, Wolf, and Wyvern. This allows for a consolidated single reference of all of the creatures found in various places in the four supplements, as well as creatures not in the first edition of Pendragon.
$150,000 - Knight Standees
For our final stretch goal we are creating a sheet of (2mm thick) cardboard full color standees. These are double sided, die-cut, and will come with 10 plastic stands.
When we reach $150,000 in funding, we’ll be adding the set of standees for free in all of the printed boxed sets, and provide them as a free PDF to all $49+ backers. The standees will include knights and their steeds.
