This is for my half-elf cleric Angeline Born in Luntsford She lived a quiet life with her mother until she was five. One night there was a terrible storm and a tree lost a branch atop her home. Her mother climbed up onto the roof to survey the damage and remove some of the debris. From the ground she saw he mother fall and land on the pile of sticks they had gathered earlier. She hurried to find a cleric to help but nobody listened until a neighbor found her mother but by then it was too late. At her mother's funeral she met her Grandparents and uncle. Her grandparents were scandalized at the idea of their daughter having a bastard child and cast her out. They would spend the rest of their days in her mother's home and pass it on to their son who still lives there to this day. Angeline, or Acera as she was known at the time was taken in by Father Matthias of the Church of Karametra. A kind man of strong convictions he raised her and many other orphans encouraging her to change her name and cut ties with her mother's family. Once again her life became happy and peaceful but as she grew older she came to understand what her grandparents had done to her and grew bitter. In her teen years she started to hang out with the cult of Erebos and with them hatched a plan get revenge. The plan was put into action and her grandparents passed away. She ensured they were laid to rest in unmarked graves while their graves were occupied by a pair of condemned thieves. The preists of Erebos collected their payment and then some. She then decided to join the church of Karamatra and work as a midwife. In her years of working in the temple she worked to try and lower the mortality rate for mothers and children she cared for, particularly those of mixed ancestry. She decided to Travel to the other lands and learn all she could about their maternity practices and see if any techniques could be applied across cultures and save lives.
