Character concept: Werewolf/ Lycanthrope

Rules: change fluff not crunch.​


Trying to make a LVL 6 PC that is as similar to a Werewolf as possible. Right now ideas I've got are the following: Monk/ Ranger Hybrid, with Twin strike and unarmed combatant (claws) probably picking up the feat that makes 'fists' 1D10. Dire wolverine strike similar but the wisdom modifier damage being a bite. Because 'fists' are off-hand, you wont need two-weapon fighting build from ranger. Is it still worth spending a Feat to get a ranger build?
I was thinking a good race would be Shifter or MAYBE Kalashtar. Any help will be greatly appreciated! While seeming like a werewolf is priority, i'd like it to still seem viable in play. Thnx ahead of time for any advice!:)

Consider this option. Druid/Monk hybrid so stats match and with wild shape you can become a "wolf." The powers all fit the theme, and the ki focus can be applied to beast form attacks. Reflavor Dragon's tail as a bite/trip attack, and one-hundred leaves as a feral howl.
