Character creation - fill in the blanks?

As a fighter (or maybe barbarian), he stands a much better chance per hit die at each new level of rolling survivable hit points. And to help make sure he stays alive, he puts the high roll in dex - strike first, avoid being hit.

And it makes for an opportunity to craft an interesting background, too. After all, not all dwarves have to be rock-steady; there's bound to be a few nimble within the race overall.

With all due respect, your response to his answer to your question did seem quite rude. Not to mention your response to his response to your response to his answer of your question...
 


I'd go with one level of fighter to get martial proficiencies and the dwarven waraxe. Then switch over to cleric, most likely, where divine favor memorized a couple times should help keep me alive.
