D&D General Character named after someone more famous.

I can only name one professional hockey player, so my games could have been inundated with characters named after them and I wouldn't know (unless they were called Wayne).

Just remembered one from DECADES ago:

A Dwarven Ranger named Maxwell Silverhammer. Lycanthropes were his favored enemy.

Made for my own amusement but not played...

A paladin named Lyraj ("lee-rajh") with his steed Kenz. His battle cry was both their names.
"Lyraj and Kenz!"

(Side note, Aid+Warding Bond+Heroism go a long way to make a mount durable, especially as Heroism helps the Paladin ablate the damage from Warding Bond. Or just cast Sanctuary so the rabble can't attack)
