Hi,
Two things. First, I've made a version of the WotC PDF form-fillable character sheet that actually does the math for you, filling in things like skill totals as you go - would I be allowed to upload this? Or could I diff it against the WotC distributed version and upload the diffs file?
Secondly, I've been reading through my 5e PHB and found a bunch of things I was rather confused by. Can I clarify that:
- There is no longer any penalty for firing into melee?
- There is no longer any penalty or risk to casting a spell in melee provided it is instantaneous and does not require a ranged attack roll?
- A barbarian using two weapons adds his Rage bonus to both weapon attacks, but he doesn't add his Str mod to the second?
- There are no trained-only skills any more?
- On page 175 it states that picking a lock requires proficiency with thieves' tools, but I could not find any other rule confirming this - thieves' tools would allow your proficiency bonus to be added but have no other effect. Is this a contradiction?
Thanks!
