Character sheets and DDI

I don't know about anyone else, but I really loved the simplicity and retro feel of the DDXP character sheets. I also liked how they listed all powers in full which meant no flicking through the books.

I would love it if the character sheet generator in DDI created character sheets that look exactly like this. I don't mind that I can't see all the variables on the character sheet - I just want the results. It seems to me that the variables don't change much within a session anyway.

Whaddya reckon?

That's pretty much what you'll be seeing. (Along side a portrait option.)

Please forgive my ignorance; what are those cards that are around the character sheet?

Power cards upon which to write the details of your various powers (a la the D&DXP sheets) for quick reference.

Power cards.

Character Sheets are coming with blank cards you can use to track your used powers during an encounter.

The ones shown aren't the final design, and are in Magic the Gathering card sleeves.

DDI will likely have a pdf of the same cards, and I would imagine pre-printed ones available.

There's a community project based on the idea over here (Which, btw, was started prior to WotC talking about it, and from what we've seen, I think the community versions are far superior.)
