Six-sided dice without a zero?!

On a serious note, fake dice like these have been around for a while. You just have to be careful.

The fake d20s seem to be more prevalent. Sometimes, when I buy a handful of dice from a store or a container of miscellaneous dice online, some of the d20s turn out to have no 1s and 2 20s.

It's good that you are letting new DMs know what to look out for, though.

It's good that you are letting new DMs know what to look out for, though.

Last time I bought random dice, I found a very odd D20. No 10 or 11, but two 1s and two 20s. next time i get to play, i think i'm gonna ask my DM if i can use it(considering the fumble/critical tables he uses, it'd be interesting.)

!! This would really upset me. Buying what you think are good, regular dice and finding out that you've been cheating without knowing it...

*sigh* I've got a lot of dice to check now...

Believe me, I've seen plenty of players cheat on dice rolls without resorting to gimmick dice. One of the most recent ones was the guy who would only roll on his books. If the die rolled off onto the table he would reroll it. Of course I saw him roll max damage off the book and he counted that one.
