Check out these awesome previews of the Dragonlance Bestiary

This may seem a bit odd, but I really liked the fonts you guys used. If you don't mind, could you tell me what they are? Very nice....

Thank you Piratecat! :D

It's the little things like this that make EN World the only messageboard that I can stand to visit anymore. All the others have since sunk into the mire of flaming and inane posts.

Objecting to a product is fine, but impersonating a WotC employee in the process is not. Snoweel has been active here for years... but that doesn't make it okay, as many members and browsers are new and don't know this.

Fonts!

I'm not down in the office yet, so this is from memory. Our "title" font for the front book cover is simply Times New Roman Condensed. We use a typeface called Mason for headers, and (I think) Caslon Book Antiqua for the main text.

We've actually shifted a few things around in most recent product, though the look is largely the same. Note this is for Dragonlance--Sovereign Stone has completely different typefaces.

Peter Archer, Jamie Chambers, and WotC and Sovereign Press folks in general -- Snoweel has a two week ban from EN World. I think of it as a gentle way of saying "thanks" for generating the confusion; sort of like a Hallmark card, only with a little more vitriol attached. If additional trouble pops up, please let me (or another admin) know.

Kevin,

Thanks! We can take product-bashing, but pretending to be part of either our company or our licensor is officially Not Cool as far as we're concerned. Now back to our regularly scheduled discussion.

For those who are interested, the Bestiary of Krynn should be in game stores by the end of the month. The 176-page adventure, Key of Destiny, should follow along with 3-4 weeks!

The daemon warrior is cool also, being one of the most iconic minions of Chaos. The only thing I find odd is that they speak Infernal and not Abyssal.

Yeah, that's my goof. My only defense is that Infernal is the alphabet shared by both the Abyssal and Infernal languages, but given they're chaotic creatures from the Abyss...

There are a few other Chaos creatures in the Bestiary, also with excellent artwork. The art in the book really blew me away when I first saw it - full-color and dynamic. Perfect for a book of monsters!

Cheers,
Cam

True you are biased, but I will admit, the artwork and of course the whole "Dragonlance Beastiary" is a great thing.

Great monsters!!!!

[Semi OT:] My Players (big DL fans) ask me constantly if there's anywhere I could find Raistlin / Palin / etc. stats for 3.x. Anyone knows if that thing even exists?
