Check Required Flaw

My biggest problem with this flaw is it's like getting a power at reduced cost without anything negative affecting it.

The tendency is going to make the skill that the check requires high, especially if the power that you're flawing is one of your main schticks.

Since that skill is going to be usually higher then the actual power, (PL 10 power is capped at 10, the skill ranks capped at 15 with further improvement due to ability scores), and because in the M&M system you don't autofail on a natural 1 (since you can take 1 if you so choose) and the DC is the check-required flaw is only 10+power level (or in the case of a PL 10 game, 20)

You're never going to fail the check and thus never be hindered by the flaw and get the power at the reduced cost with no negative effects.

I'm going to vote NO on this one.
