Cheysuli as a druid based prestige class?

Those of you who have read the Cheysuli chronicles by Jennifer Roberson, I have a question.

Do you think it would be possible to create a faithful reproduction of the race in the form of a select clan of druids, using prestige class creation?

If you think so, and are interested, I would be greatly curious to see what you could put together.
