D&D 4E Chicago area 4E Demo at Games Plus

I was looking at WotC's list of demos country-wide, and was wondering where you guys were! Glad to see you're putting some stuff together, and hopefully you'll keep doing stuff through launch time!

I felt kinda offended when I didn't see Games+ listed in the original playtest calendar. Now I'm offended that I'll be at work.

I was able to play at the demo tonite. I had a blast...played as a cleric was able to have some fun with fear and all the radiant dmg I could pump out.

Games Plus isn't on the WotC list because that requires demos registered and run by official WotC Delegates. Our delegate is on hiatus with RL complications, thus no one to register the events. Fortunately our delegate was able to put last nights demo together at the last minute. I am working with him (and WotC) so I can run some demos. I'll try to get the word out as soon as anything is set. Sam may well run another week-night demo for us, but I plan to set up a few for some Friday evenings and some Saturdays.

Crap. When I saw this thread bumped I was hoping that thalmin was hosting another Demo...

thalmin, do you have Games Plus newsletter or something I can subscribe to?

No definite update right now. I am still in Las Vegas having attended the GTS. I won't return to work until Sunday, and it will take me several days to get caught up with things at work, not to mention the homefront. It is my plan to start running demos in a week or two, I will let you folks know once I get settled.
