Thanks to Mark and Matt for a great day (and to Patrick who DM'd the first game I was in). As always a fantastic day with fun people.

Good luck to Matt in setting up the next Day in June. :D

Another success!

Excellent game day. Not only did I get to help save the world in the guise of LL Cool J, and see ace lacrosse forward Rex Hanson survive a second encounter with Horrid Things Man Was Not Meant To Know, but when I came home the Dungeons & Dragons movie was on cable! Sanity check!!!

A banner day, indeed. :)

Thanks to mgrasso and mattyhelms for running such excellent games, and to all the players I had the pleasure to game with. It's always cool to put a face with a forum nickname.

I'm 99% sure (leaving myself some leeway here) that I'll run a game come June.

Thanks to everyone who braved the "Storm of the Century";) and came out to the Game Day. And special thanks to Mark and Matt for coordinating another fun event, and to the gm's who put in the extra work to make the day a success. I hope everyone had a good time, I'm looking forward to seeing you all again next time.

Dude! It was great to see Rex in action.

Shadues, may the light of Pelor bless you, too.

Roland Delacroix, please remember: methane and Wall of Fire do not mix.

Quickbeam, it was great to play with you (twice), and "your family sickens me!" will be cracking me up for a long time to come. Of course, "Cthulhu doesn't attack in broad daylight" is a close 2nd. I look forward to more insanity-inducing madness next time.

And pbartender, I was truly saddened by the death of Maxwell Polish. Not saddened enough to try and stop it, mind you, but saddened nonetheless.

Thanks organizers Mark & Matt, our hosts at Games Plus, and all the GMs for a great game day. It was well worth braving the Blizzard of '03, Curt. ;)

Aaarghhh! Well, I got moved in in extremely cold weather. Our U-haul's transmition died at Joy Road and Haggerty, too, which delayed us a good three hours or more when all was said and done.

But, I did think of you, as I was hefting our gigantic four ton solid oak computer desk. :( See everyone next time.

Another Gameday down - woo hoo!!!!

First off thank you everyone who came out to run, play, or just see what was going on. These Gamedays are for you and I love to see you take advantage of them! I only wish I had more time to hang out and chat with all of you.

Thank you to Curt and everyone at Games Plus for hosting this once again. I'm glad so many people get the chance to go to your store and see how lucky I am to shop there regularly. Of course, big shout-out to Curt for helping to oraganize this joint Gameday!

Thank you to all the companies and people who donated prizes. Nary an empty hand by my count. Free Gameday and free swag equals happy people.

Thank you to everyone who put up with my CoC d20 game. Sure we only got like 2/3 of the way through the planned adventure, but - DUDE!!!! buzz's character lives again for another sequel and another archaeology lesson. And if I do end up running CoC again, I promise I will learn the damn d20 rules!!!! ;)

Finally, thank you to Mark Clover of Creative Mountain Games and co-organizer of this Gameday. You started this whole thing and made the idea of Chicago Gamedays what they are, brother.

With that, I look forward to working on the next Gameday with all of you. There will be more about that soon...

Thank you all again for taking part and see in June at the next Chicago Gameday,
Matt Helms

My group would also like to throw our thanks in there. Between my buddy Angel and myself we dropped about $200 on copies of Savage Species, Slayers Guide to Undead and other stuff and some of our younger players picked up some free adventurers to test their skills in the future.

Great time was had by all.
