Chicago Gameday Future FAQ
For those who missed the surprise announcement of the season, Mark Clover is retiring from running Gamedays and has handed the reigns over to me. Thanks for the heads-up, buddy!!!
Seriously, I am excitied to help continue what Mark has started. I love the Gamedays and want to assure all of you that nothing will change - unless you want it to. These Gamedays are ultimately about each and every one of you and they should serve you, not the other way around. Feel free to e-mail me, PM me (once my darn supporter account gets activated) , or, better yet, post here with any suggestions or comments for the future Gamedays.
On with some FAQ:
Will there be any change to the schedule?
Nope. I intend on keeping the nicely spaced February, June, and November rotation already established. I will no longer be running RPG.net Gamedays to better focus my attention on ENWorld.
So, the next Gameday will be June?
Curt and I still need to work out a good date for Games Plus to host in June, but that's the idea.
Will there be any change in what games are run?
I have no clue. You all determine what games are run and I just put 'em on a schedule and act as your cheerleader. I may even run
World of Synnibarr at the next Gameday if there's enough interest.
Will Mark be going away?
Though Eskimo-dead to me and Curt for turning his back on us, I am sure Mark will not be stranger in the future
Who the heck are you?
Long-time gamer and organizer of two RPG.net Gamedays, including this last joint Gameday. I have also run Call of Cthulhu d20 games at the last two Gamedays.
I think that about covers everything. Please post any comments or questions - other than that, keep your eyes peeled for the next Gameday!
Thanks,
Matt
