Mark: Any chance I could get my spell list before the game so I can read up on what I can do? Spells get pretty complicated at mid-high level, i'd rather not have to learn what they do last minuite. If you wanna save more time heres an idea: The Tome and Blood web enhancement has sample spellbooks for wizards at every level, PHB spells only. I could just copy that? It's available here: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/we/we20010713a

Stop by a store and check out the source and you'll be all set. I won't haev time to input it for you. Sorry.

What? I don't understand. I'm playing a wizard in your morning game and i'm wondering what my spell list might be. I don't have time to learn the 300+ spells a 10th level wizard could have in his spellbook from the PHB alone.

Games Plus is an hour+ ride from me so I only get up there for games days. Did you leave the characters there already?

If you wish to do any advance work before Saturday...

I'm using the 10th level iconic character examples from Enemies and Allies, if you'd care to stop in the store and have a look for yourself. Players will choose from the whole lot of them to form their six-character party.

Best I can do for you. Sorry.

Oh, cool, i must have missed that post of yours :D NP then

Luckily for me thre's no iconic fool i guess :p

There's a bunch of iconics (16ish?) so if you'd wish to switch, that's fine (Sorcerer, maybe?). If things go quickly and the members of the group start dropping, I may allow people to sit out a certain number of rounds then rush in with a different iconic! If there's a TPK, and we still have time, I've got a number of scenarios in mind. I do plan to make this a very tough event that should tax everyone's inventiveness and cunning, mine included. ;)

Mark,

Allow me to amend my PC request for your game. While I do want to play a druid, the idea doesn't make much sense a a fitting guard for a King. Thus, I'll take either a cleric or true fighter -- the only class I haven't played in 3E.

Re: MattyHelms' Call of Cthulhu game

Barendd and Quickbeam - Cool - I hope to have a good variety of pre-generated characters to choose from.

Buzz - Will you be playing your character from the last Gameday?

See you Saturday!

Later,
Matt

You tell me. Would it be more fun or easier on you if I did? I *think* I still have the sheet lying around.

Dude. ;)

Well, all my notes from that last adventure have been lost somewhere in my move. I can get a similar character to the one you played, though :)

I'm happy to play a different character, though I can bring the old one (if I still have it) either way. I have no special attachment to Dude-Guy. :D
