Chicago Gameday - Last Comments then to the Archive!

Not just a *bump*....

Quickbeam and Dinkledog:

I have the books we were talking about at the Gameday (1st ed. Montser Manual for QB and 1st ed. Fiend Folio for DD). Just send me an address and I can mail them to you. I could also bring them to the next Chicago Gameday, but I don't want to make you wait four months for all that 1st edition goodness. :)

I had never asked that a Chicago Gameday thread be archived before, but I think with the transition between my organizing it and passing it on to MattyHelms it might be helpful. Plus it'll be nice to hang on to the photos that way. :)

So a final thanks to everyone for the all of the Chicago Gamedays! I look forward to seeing everyone at future gamedays and urge everyone to jump on board early when Matt organizes the next one so they can continue to grow! :)

Thanks, Mark.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the next Chicago Gameday. Until then, I'll see you on the boards!

RPGnet/ENWorld Gamedays

buzz: I will not be running RPG.net Gamedays anymore. I do keep in touch with some of the people there and will be promoting the day on their boards. Unless someone else decides to organize the Gamedays for RPG.net, however, there will be nothing official - I'm all about the ENWorld Gamedays now. :)

Speaking for RPGnet, there's nothing I'd like better than continuing the series of Gamedays Matt started for us with the first one in Chicago, then our second I put together in Oakland. Now that some personal matters are no longer dominating my life, I'd actually be able to help RPGnet's side of a joint ENWorld/RPGnet Gameday be a more equal effort.

Though it seems you all did well without my involvement, I must apologize for what must have seemed near apathy on RPGnet's part during the planning of this event. Should another joint Gameday be proposed, I'd be all for it. It'd be great fun to see what two large sites could put together. :)

You should Email Matt directly. I'm sure he'd be glad to hear of the support you are offering. This thread is soon to be moved to the Archive and direct Email is the best way to follow through on your offer. Thanks. :)

Already tried. I've had no response back, so I figured I'd try here.

I'd understand if he were annoyed with me, though. My family problems threw off my schedule/concentration for quite a while.

Allan, sorry, but I never did get an e-mail from you. Yahoo! may have lost it for me. I'll drop you a line.

As for the rest of you - see you in June! Keep your eyes on the boards for the next Chicago Gameday!

Thanks,
Matt
