Chicago Gameday - The Aftermath!!!!

NEW GAME! Yeah, yeah, I know it's late.

Well, here goes...

It’s a late entry, but I’d like to offer a game in the second slot (in the now vacant private room) for between 4-7 players. It will be D&D core rules only, and made for 14th-level characters. It will be very loosely based on Andy Collins’, “Old Embers Never Die, “ from Dungeon #100, but will have enough changes that even if you have read the adventure, you can still expect some surprises.

If the title doesn’t give it away, I’ll simply say that you’re characters are gathered together to seek out and destroy a dragon. It’s a thin hook, but it’s good enough! You can expect MUCH better details in your character backgrounds when I get them to you.

On this kind of short notice, I’ll ask that anybody who wants to make their own characters do so and email them to me before Sunday afternoon. Use 28-point buy, and the standard DMG values when buying magic items to make your characters. Otherwise, expect premade characters to be emailed sometime before gameday.

I'll also need a single player interested in playing, “the dragon” to ease things on my part--it isn’t limited to only the combat, or the end of the adventure! Members of B.A.D.D. are encouraged to apply. A combat "tip-sheet" will be provided. Apply by email, in private. Don't announce it!

Minimum # of players is four. If it doesn’t happen I will arrange to have something else ready to go as an alternative for my players.

Sorry, John, but I think we are going to keep the private room vacant. We still have ample table space for this game, though, and even more if the need arises.

What lurks in the private room? Thalmin knows....

And what pray tell will be going on in the "Private" room?
Half dressed booth babes, occult rituals, twinki crafting?
All of the above and more?
Inquiring and nosey minds want to know!
;)

painfully - I listed your game, so let's see if we can some players in those seats! As thalmin mentioned, we're going to kind of keep the Private Room open. It's kind of become the "Chat Room" for these website Gamedays.

ejja_1 - What goes on in the Private Room during the Gamedays? Mostly I sleep or talk with Curt and Mark, so if that's your idea of red-hot action, you are in for one wild Gameday.

Thanks,
Matt

Actually, due to the lighter expected turnout for this gameday, we decided to not bump the group that normally has that room on saturdays. Sorry.

Thats pretty damn cool!

Another reason Games Plus rocks, how many game stores would not clear the local game schedule due to a big event like game day? Very cool of you guys Curt!

Haven't you heard of rechargables?
(Maybe that wouldn't work. No recharge rules in 3E. Don't know yet for 3.5.:p )
Of course you wouldn't do that. None of us would. But we ALL want to. ;)
I don't know why--it is totally illogical--but I just don't trust rechargable batteries. I really need to find out why and get over it. :D

...AC adaptor...? :D
Well, the AC adaptor for my camera costs $70, which is a total rip-off. And I remember the fun you had a few GameDays ago, when your camera could not move any further than the length of the cord on your AC adaptor. :p

Isn't there a photocopier in the store? :)
Even if there was, that would not be good for the spine of the book. :(

I guess I was lucky my AC adaptor came with the camera. Nonetheless, books might have a spine but have yet to grow legs... ;)
