Sorry, there is no for now... Read through this entire thread, please. The answers to most of the questions you are asking have been explained already.

Sorry i remeber you saying a no change rules policy. So don't sign me up but please give me more info. What level of play is the first slot first game? What level is the second game in the first slot also? I'd be interesting in joining one as i have joined one for the afternoon. You have yet to seem to have answered whether or not characters for first slot/first game were pre-gen'd by you or not and i've seen a character druid and a fighter but don't understsand what they meant by "fight slot" Did i miss something here? are the specific slots with classes involved in each? Also what is with the vikings? Do we all have to be vikings ? I definitely would want to play if I can create my own character.

To sum up what parts from this thread pertains to the Viking game as it currently stands...

Viking Game summary - A recent raid has left your ranks decimated but you've uncovered a map. Some obvious markings on it bear a resemblance to landmarks nearby, others hint at a treasure far greater than a hundred raids could garner. Going inland to seek this treasure could be dangerous and takes you away from the safety of your boats but your leader, who has just expired, muttered something about a long lost legend...

Should we create our own Vikings for the game or will you have pre-gens?

I'd like people to send me concepts right away and I'll have pregens for the Viking game sometime down the road. Be ready to be playing a Barbarian, Druid, Expert, Fighter, Rogue or Sorcerer. They'll be 10th-level characters. First come first serve, and that means sending the concept to me, not just laying claim to it on this board.

And rowport has come up with a wonderful concept for the Barbarian, and ejja_1 has the Fighter.

Got the Sorcerer and the Rogue open for the Viking game if someone wants to join.

Good question. One of the latter two, depending on how things shape up between now and then.

In a nutshell, 10th-level Pre-Gen Viking Characters rolled by me but based on a concept which must be emailed to me for approval. The two available concepts left are a Rogue and a Sorcerer with the Druid claimed by MattyHelms, Expert by thalmin, rowport as the Barbarian, and ejja_1 as the Fighter.

I'll need to get the adventure together so I'll be closing the registration for my slot one Viking game tomorrow evening even if that means going with four players. I've left it open an extra week beyond what I'd originally intended and don't want to get too far behind on the creation process. Thanks to everyone who has signed up (or does so by tomorrow) and I look forward to crafting an exciting game for everyone who plays!

Sorry for the late and fragmented response, people - a family emergency pulled me away before I could finish responding. Plus, Idiot Boy managed to burn and blister his main typing finger!

Anyway, not only is the schedule updated in the first post, but I have updated the second post with some reminders.

sithramir - Welcome to the fold - as thamin mentioned, the Gamedays are about meeting new friends and seeing old ones, so don't be afraid to come on out and have some fun.

Ok well sign me up for the first game. I'll play the sorcerer. I'll come up with a idea soon. Unfortunately I am in a move today and tomorrow and kind of busy But I will get to it soon if thats ok.

Would I get to choose my spells based on my characters background or is that included in what you preroll?

Nope. Sorry. I've already pushed back the deadline for character concepts by a week and a half and I'd rather not get further behind schedule. I'll have to go with the four players that signed up and sent their character concepts to me in time. So the Viking game is closed and includes the following players-

1. MattyHelms - Viking Druid
2. thalmin - Viking Expert
3. ejja_1 - Viking Fighter
4. rowport - Viking Barbarian

I'm sure with the other games that are open pat_b and sithramir will find something equally fun to play.

Along the same lines, I need to finalize who is in the second slot game (which should be titled "Spoils of War", please). Please close the second slot at its current players. I'll need their characters sent to me by this Saturday June 7th, please. Here, again, are the players and the guidelines for character creation-

The second slot CMG adventure will be 7th-level multi-class Rogues or straight Rogue characters. Core rules only, 28 point buy per DMG, Email your characters to me in a text file or in the body of the Email only (No character sheets or generator files, please). Ideally the text file will contain a stat block of your character. Also, please send along a Magic Item and Equipment wishlist (19,000 gp. limit including mundane, masterwork and magic items).
