* Mark, are you really gonna run a D&D game giving me the opportunity to channel the fury and disdain of Tordek once more?

* Jaws, I'd love to see you run AE.

I shall politely (and selfishly) request afternoon.

Uh-oh...

OOooohhhhh, Morning Painting Seminar, eh? :)

"I'll have to come up with a scenario for the evening game that includes a good amount of roleplaying. Maybe something that hinges on the societal or cultural traditions of a local people. Traditions that might seem strange or unusual to those from the outside world. I wonder how Tordek is going to feel about that..?" - Mark Clover (CreativeMountainGames.com)

Never fear Mark. I'm simply hedging my game options. If you're running D&D that afternoon, I'm onboard -- whether it be with Tordek suffering through the aforementioned indignities, or another PC left in similarly awkward circumstances. Gimme your worst. :]

As for Jaws' AE game, in theory I'd love to play given the fun I had in his autumn event AU game. However, I'm running a game in the morning session and I've not had the pleasure (or abuse depending on perspective) of gaming with you in ages and would like the chance to remedy that problem. If life intervenes and you are unable to DM, I've selfishly attempted to line up another fantastic afternoon game option.

Does that make me a bad Ent? ;)

ninjacat if you still doing that game, i am gonna raid your table(put me in for your game)

and buzz, are there gonna be anymore Forged novels??? if there are, please hide em!!!!

Here we go...

The Melodramatic Misadventures of Romiet & Juleo
Pbartender, Skull & Bones D20

In lovely Merona we set our scene,
A quaint village with the sea all around.
Where never war, famine nor plague has been,
Tranquility, peace and boredom abound.
And so within this halcyon domain,
The board on which our pieces have been laid,
A rich man's daughter and her lowly swain
Prepare to play the game of man and maid.
Yet what courtship lasts without enmity?
Hardships will unavoidably ensue.
In defence of paternal dignity,
Her grim brothers do her suitor pursue.
No valor, has he, to redeem the day,
Nor courage to face his fair damsel's plight,
Nor swordsman's arm. The quill is more his way.
But Lo! He spies men to take up his fight.
For though our fair maid may not yet know it,
By the help of scoundrels with soften'd hearts,
Her fortune is ruin'd for love of a poet.
And for us, time has come to play our parts...

A Skull & Bones D20 adventure for up to six pre-generated characters. No prior experience necessary.

Hey, it wouldn't be a Gameday wihtout Forged novels!

Hey, Quickbeam, izzat BRP CoC or d20?

Okay, I've added all the posted events save for Jaws' AE game. If we stick to the official 6/6 event scheme, there's only one slot left (afternoon), and it will likely be where Jaws' game fits in. Man, that was fast! :)

So, what say you, Jaws? You want that last slot?

Quite interesting: only *one* straight-up D&D game is being offered, and the non-d20 games seem to outnumber the d20. Are folks like me, i.e., they play so much D&D regularly that they need a break at Gameday? Or is it just coincidence?

Personally, I've got one player who refuses to play anything other than D&D. It's like eating nothing but pepperoni pizza day in and day out... Every now and again, I want some sausage and mushrooms or maybe even anchovies on my pizza.

You are dead to me, good sir. ;)

Man, I like a good anchovy pizza. Admittedly, it's hard to find one.

Anchovies, spinach, tomatoes, garlic, artichoke hearts and feta makes for a great pizza.
