It's also not a bad idea to emphasize games that highlight specific books to their respective companies... My game, for example, will be using the Skull & Bones supplement, and will most likely feature a chase using Hot Persuit (once I pick up a copy from RPGNow). One of which is published by Green Ronin, and both of which are supported by Adamant Entertainment.

Good point.

I suppose if you're eager to help out and it will add to your overall enjoyment of Gameday, let me know who you want to contact so I don't duplicate the effort. Direct them to this thread or to the Web site, and have them send prizes to Games Plus. Or tell me the nature of your "in" and I'll contact the company for you.

I just don't want to put any publishers off by having multiple people ask for donations, that's all.

I will run the painting seminar for a morning and afternoon slot. Hopefully Nikmal can join us, I am surprised he has not chimed in yet.

Yes I will definately join in on this.. I am so looking forward to this! I did not chime in becauise for some reason I did not know the game day was in planning hehe.. for some reason I did not get the email or I would have piped in already. Matt thanks for doing so too.. I am glad someone did and can keep the painting seminar tradition, such as it is now continuing on :)

Here's the trailer for SERENITY...

...just in case folks want a idea of what the game is about or like.

BTW, I will be seeing a advanced screening of the movie tomorrow. Yay!

I've kept my anticipation quiet for some time now, but damnit Wesel, flaunting your sneak preview of Serenity is poking the bear one time too many! So for the third straight Gameday I will be running a character from a beloved cult show with the same GM. The wife is really starting to worry...

Of course, like most things in my life, my choice is not stable. Final tally awaits the sign up thread, which I agree should be held for a while. If we fill it up now, where's the anxious waiting, the need, the growing hunger? Ok, the talking of pizza is getting to me. And Hawaiian pizza = pizza del Diablo.

Looking forward to the day, but then looking forward to any day after Monday's surgery. Luckily, I will be more than sufficiently healed to toss a 10-sider come Gameday.

As usual, there's four games in the morning slot that I'd love to play, including two that I've never played but have always been fascinated with. <sigh>

Well, if every DM would write up a quick story hour, we could at least experience the other slots vicariously (if not directly).

It's not hard to write a story hour. I just started one (see .sig). I'll bet Quickbeam can have his written in the car before you guys hit Detroit! :p
