Buzz:

Just to keep you up to date, I dropped my event down from six seats to five. I think some splitting up of the party is going to be unavoidable, and I want to try to keep everyone "in the spotlight" as much as possible...easier to do with only five spotlights to worry about instead of six. Also, we've got seven slots in the pm and only five in the am, so I figure losing a seat shouldn't have too much of a negative impact on things, yeh?

Disaster!

Nah, I'm just kidding.

No, it really is a disaster! Augh!

No, really, I'm kidding.

Etc.

Okay, it's been five days since anyone posted an event, so I guess event submission is winding down. I'll let the thread go until the end of the week and email a reminder to the list.

Is there anyone running an event in the afternoon that might be willing to run in the morning? That'd even out the day a little bit, assuming we have all the events we're going to get. I'd volunteer but, a) I really want to play in either Tim or Nev's events, and 2) then there'd be no 4e in the afternoon.

I'll mention needing a morning event when I email the list, so there's time to think about it.

Looks like things have slowed down enough to consider a second event. May I please add a morning event on the second miniatures table? I would like it to be a Medieval/Fantasy d20/D&D rules-based miniatures (not DDM) game entitled "Storming the Castle!" All will be provided and rules explained. Players will take on the roles of the leaders either defending or attacking a castle with a portion of the available troops determined by the number of sign ups. 4 to 6 seats available, families (parent/offspring) teams encouraged.

I may yet be able to make it for the morning and will run a Serenity game if I can...

I should know for sure by thursday.

Well, as always, I can add a seat or two come GameDay if it's really needed or a walk-in has a burning desire to play a Supernatural game or something, but this particular scenario will probably run smoother with fewer party members.

So, it's only a potential disaster. ;)

Added! Woo!

So, now we've got 28-30 seats in the morning, and 36 in the afternoon. One more event in the morning and we'll be pretty even. It's not a big problem if we don't get another event, as people often show up just for the afternoon. Still, it'd be ideal.
