Hey Boz, when you going and where are you going from? A few friends and I are probably taking different means there and we're from Chicago. We're only going to check out what's happening and don't plan to be there all day though.

hey joe, i remember meeting you once, a few years ago. we played D&D with some of my friends, but that's about all that happened.
i'm thinking of leaving saturday morning and coming back to chicago that night. if i had a car and/or hotel reservations and/or the money to do either, i would probably have different plans, but that is as it stands. i don't know yet exactly what i'm going to do, but as i'm looking at things, i'll probably take the amtrak with my girlfriend and just go see what's up there.

Hey Boz, where'd you get your screen name? I was reading Tale of Two Cities today and the introduction said that Dickens used to publish sketches of ordinary life under the psuedonym "Boz." Any relation?

if i am related to him, i wanna see some cash. BOZ is an intentional misspelling of my last name, that i came up with in college.

ok, i made reservations to take the 10:20 am Amtrak train on saturday (here's hopin i survuve, thanks scott!) just one question, where do i pick up the train, union station downtown?

You can pick up the train at Union Station downtown in Chicago. (I took the train from Milwaukee one year.) Your tickets should say where you should catch the train.

missed my train!

LOL after all that last-minute planning, my alarm clock shoots me in the back. hey, i put on an excellent showing! i woke up about 20 minutes after i was planning to leave... i got up, threw my clothes on, grabbed my bag, got on the train to go downtown, oooh it was smooth! things were going real well to catch my 10:20 amtrak train, hey i might just make it! when i get to the ticket counter... it's 10:22.

arrrgh! so now i'm in a library in downtown chicago, waiting for my 1:00 train.

i'm still goin!!! LOL
