I'm like, let's get this pandemic over with. I'm more then prepared to hole up in my room for a year. I work at my computer so it's an easy deal. The thing is, I live in the Vancouver/Lower Mainland area, and we have put up with warnings of an imminent major 9.0 earthquake for 20 years now.

I know this flu thing is a bit more likely to happen, but I can't help but feel it's just another scam to sell newspapers. I'm wrong though.

I think the earthquake might be more likely.

Well not just our local papers, but every major news source. Story is: it's virulent in birds, and could mix with human flu where it is a growing problem in Asia.

Diaglo you might appreciate this... I was in the grocery store and I saw a bottle of dried star anise and I thought to myself "if only I knew the secrets of the explosive manufacturing process I too could make Tamiflu and make loads o' monies."
