Christmas shopping at Games Plus!

yay! i finally have an excuse to drive all the way out to Mt. Prospect!

at the moment, i'm planning to be there around 7PM (hopefully earlier) on thursday - is it open then?

Yes, they are. From their web page:

Sunday 12:00pm to 7:00pm
Monday 10:00am to 8:00pm
Tuesday through Friday 10:00am to 9:00pm
Saturday 10:00am to 8:00pm

(This is why I almost never go on Mondays...it's difficult for me to get up there by 8.)

I've got a few things myself to pick up. Because most of the people I know are in the city, I spend a good deal of time.. in the city, as opposed to where I live, which is about 2 miles from Mt. Prospect. Ironic that I used to go to the store more when I lived in Chicago...

i didn't get any birthday money.

waaaah! i picked up Complete Warrior and a couple back issues of Dragon though.

but for presents, i got Ren & Stimpy season 1, South Park season two, and some items from victoria secret.

for our daughter i got Aladdin and Mulan - i am the excellent santa this year.
