Chronicles of Narnia trailer.

Saw the trailer tonight before RotS. Great trailer! Looks like a good movie. I always enjoyed the books when I was younger.

I saw the trailer before E3. Very good looking movie. Chronicles was a favorite of mine when I was young. Come to think of it, it was the first foray into fantasy for me. It may have been the spark that caused my interest in other fantasy works later as I matured....

Wait, did I just say I matured?

The movie looks great, I'm really looking forward to it. I just hope they don't try too hard to be LotR (emphasizing massive battles and whatnot).

I love Narnia. Now if only they'd do the Space Trilogy...

And people are already concerned about them changing the Chronicles movies to make them less Christian. I'd hate to see what kind of butchery they could do to the Space Trilogy.

Looks good. Are they doing more than the one book in this one, though? It's been a long time since I read any of C.S. Lewis' stuff, but I don't remember the big battle from LWW -- thought that was in Prince Caspian.

There is a big battle in Lion. The Battle of the Fords. The novel focuses on Lucy, Susan and Aslan's trip to the Witch's castle instead of the battle, but the battle does happen.

Right now, I think there are plans to do at least 3 movies. I'm not sure if they'll leave some books out, combine multiple books into a single film, or if they'll keep making more than 3.
