Chuck Season 3

Wow big cliffhanger for end of Ep 3.

Surely they're not getting rid of Captain Awesome are they?

Yeah, that's a HUGE cliffhanger. I was like HOLY CRAP! I did like episodes 2 + 3 much better than episode 1. Felt more similar to what I liked of the show than episode 1.

[sblock]They show Awesome in the preview for the next episode. Plus, the actor is in the opening credits. I don't know when the last time was I saw a show get rid of an "opening credits" actor so quickly.[/sblock]

When I saw what they did to the Intercept at the end of Season 2 (making Chuck into a super-spy), I was very concerned that the show was going to "jump the shark". So far, I think they have dealt with it in a very "Chuck" manner.

Agreed - I had the same concerns after the end of last season but (having just finished watching the 3 episodes) I can say that so far they've dealt with it well enough for me.

I am more concerned by Morgan becoming an AssMan than I am about Chuck with the Intersect 2.0.

The addition of Agent Shaw may bring a very interesting dynamic to the group. I hope they don't turn it into an ongoing love triangle with Sarah falling for yet another spy.

In the episode where Shaw was introduced, there was a look exchanged between Sarah and Shaw, as well as the way Sarah was explaining her relationship with Chuck to Shaw that gave me a very small vibe that Shaw and Sarah may have had a meeting before?
But, yeah, as a standard tv show event, I would imagine Shaw-Sarah spark and Chuck having his own spark with someone else simultaneously (or something else that would close him off emotionally to others), thus providing a hurdle to the Chuck-Sarah relationship.

Such as the lady on the plane! [I don't remember her name, played by Kristin Kreuk]
