Best place to ask would be the mailing list on Yahoo. Since I'm on it... I'll ask and if/when I get an answer, I'll post here.

It's a nifty game...

No the expantion got canceled... as per my Alliance Game Distributor report... There is some other dirt that I probably shouldn't mention in public - but I think it'll be out eventually.

The product is also now out of print and running out of stock at a lot of places. I think we only have about 2 or 3 copies left. It's a fun game as I've played it. Not awesome, but fun. You can find it in the EN World RPGShop.

The expansion can't have been cancelled if they're still working on it, surely? :)

Mr. Denmark's response to my question on the list was "We are playtesting it right now as I type this and one of the artists is in the other room drawing pretty pictures for it."

If there's dirt... like a falling out with the publisher or somesuch... don't say stuff you shouldn't, that's okay.

My point is that I'm sure it'll eventually come out but some recent happenings are going to delay it. It is a public FACT that it was canceled at this point with distributors and has not be resolicited.

Here is the quote from Alliance Distributing:
Citizen Games has cancelled Dungeoneer Vault o/t Overfiend (IMP CIT1200).

Atlas to publish Dungeoneer

Ahhh! At last I can reply to this topic! No more tongue biting!

It's official -- Atlas Games will become the publisher of Dungeoneer. We expect to have a 2nd edition of the basic game available in October, and the expansion set, Vault of the Fiends, available in November.

Since it's not really a d20 product, I won't go into further details here, but the official press release is now on our website. Go to http://www.atlas-games.com/dungeoneer and click on the press release link to read all about it. :)

What John? No notice that Chaimail Miniature Fans may want to check this out leading us to a chainmail figure getting crushed by a box of Dungeoneer? You know, a PDF that's huge and even people on T1 lines can't actually open?

Have you learned nothing from these boards yet John? The shame... the awful shame... :D
